Service animals are allowed anywhere the public is allowed by law in the US. There have been several instances of blind patrons being refused service and barred entry from local establishments due to their reliance on a service dog.

This practice is illegal, and the Missoula chapter of the NFB is working on a local education campaign to ensure local businesses follow the law.
