If you’ve experienced problems navigating a website or app for a local business or organization, it may be due to inaccessible design. Many blind people navigate the web and applications using screen readers and similar assistive technologies, and often, websites are still not designed with this in mind.
While private businesses do not have the same requirements for accessibility as government websites, many welcome critical feedback and assistance ensuring their web presence be inclusive. The Missoula chapter of the NFB membership includes professionals in the area of web accessibility and we would love your help. If you have issues using a wwebsite or application for a local business or government entity, please report the issue at missoulachapter@nfbmt.org.
